Several groups call St. Clement home. Here are some ways to get involved with our community:
Each day during the academic year, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary and their seminarians pray Morning Prayer and also hold a daily holy hour in the afternoon including recitation of the Rosary and Evening Prayer. Please consider whether the Lord is calling you to spend 1 hour with Him per week! To sign up, please visit Adoration.
St. Clement Shrine’s Young Adults
This group meets Mondays at 7 pm (in the UpperRoom) to listen to the readings of the Mass and discuss how to apply the message in daily life. Some of the insights are truly inspiring! Come as often as you choose. There is no commitment. All young adults are invited! Join the Yahoo group mailing list to stay in touch.
Pure in Heart Young Adults
Pure in Heart is a young adult Catholic community in the greater Boston area. We hold Mass every week at 7 pm, preceded by optional rosary and confession. We end the night with a talk and reading of St. John Paul II’s audiences on Theology of the Body and, afterward, go out to a local restaurant/pub! The Franciscans of the Primitive Observance serve as our spiritual guides and help lead our community in faith. If you would like to be added to the Pure in Heart mailing list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line SUBSCRIBE.
Music at the Shrine
We are looking for volunteers with any level of singing experience to join a choir that will provide music for worship at the 8 pm Mass every Sunday. The choir will focus on traditional music in the Christian tradition from all periods. We will rehearse Tuesday nights 7-9 pm at St. Clement and have a warm-up before the mass. Also, volunteer singers are most welcome to join the 11am Mass cantor to lead hymns. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Choir Director, Brett Kostrzewski (refer to a recent bulletin).
