Dear St. Clement community, A few years ago we raised money to help build a church (pictured below) in Vietnam for farmers. As you may know, the US dollar goes a long way in Vietnam so we were able to do a lot for the $12,000 we sent over. They were most grateful for our contribution.
This year Fr. Joseph Vo Van Truong in Chu Pah County in Vietnam has reached out to us to help him complete a chapel for another community of farmers who have to travel a great distance to attend Mass. The parish worships at their Mau Tam Chapel pictured below.
Over the years the chapel has suffered significant damage due to severe weather and is undertaking repair and renovation to continue their worship. They raised $20,000 but still need additional funding to complete the task. Because of a few very generous donors, we were able to send $10,000. But he needs a little more to finish the project. I invite you to consider helping this good priest. We will have a special collection at the Sunday Masses on October 22. You can also donate electronically below.
