Beloved Lover: The Priesthood in the Song of Songs by Fr. Gregory Cleveland is the newest book by an Oblate of the Virgin Mary.
In the context of the mystical love poetry of the Song of Songs, Beloved Lover explores how the priest is the living image of Jesus Christ, the Spouse of the Church.
Lay men and women will gain insight into the life and spirituality of the priest and be inspired to live their own priesthood of the faithful more fervently.
Venerable Bruno Lanteri, who founded the Oblates of the Virgin Mary, knew the power of good reading and of beauty to touch hearts and transform lives. And so, the Oblate priests and staff at St. Francis Chapel carry on this mission of inviting people to a deeper relationship with God by offering good books, ranging from spiritual classics to contemporary works, along with devotional materials and prayer books in both English and Spanish.
