Saint Francis Chapel, located inside the Prudential Center mall in the Back Bay section of Boston, offers daily Masses, confessions and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Check out the Saint Francis schedule below to see when each is offered, as well as the Chapel’s hours.

Changes to Public Gatherings

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Cardinal O’Malley has announced the cancellation of Masses until further notice, effective at 4:00 pm on March 14.

St. Francis Chapel is closed during this time. Each intention for upcoming Masses at the chapel will be prayed for at a Mass celebrated in private by an Oblate priest.

We have various Mass schedules for Holy Days of Obligation and other special days on the Catholic calendar which will be posted at the top of the page throughout the year.

St. Francis Chapel is open from 8:30 am—12:30 pm with Masses at 9:00 am and 12:00 noon on the following civic holidays:

  • July 4
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving

For all other civic holidays, we use the regular chapel schedule.
