You do not need to travel to find a quiet place for retreats or recollections. The Oblates of the Virgin Mary offer an ideal venue right here in Cebu City!
About the House
The main part of our center was constructed in 2000; the construction of additional retreat rooms was completed in 2007. There are four rooms set aside for directed retreatants at all times. One of these is a double room. All rooms have aircon, electric fan, and hot/cold shower.
Indoor and Outdoor Chapels
The retreat wing gives access to an indoor chapel that is available 24 hours for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and private prayer time. The outdoor chapel is used for Mass on Sunday, and is available for private prayer during the week.
Dining and Conference Rooms
Retreatants receive three meals and snacks in a spacious conference/dining room. The conference room seats about 100, which also makes it suitable for group days of recollection. Group recollections are available for college age and older, in order to preserve the atmosphere of quiet required for individual retreats.
Join Us
We welcome priests, brothers and sisters for retreats, and we extend a special invitation to lay people who are facing life decisions. The house is easily accessible here in Cebu, but is also set back ½ km from the highway, which allows for a quiet grounds and a prayerful atmosphere.
