Each year, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary Annual Gala brings together friends, supporters, and the faithful to celebrate our shared mission and provide vital support for the next generation of priests. This year, we gather in the spirit of Divine Providence, trusting in God’s guidance and care, while remaining anchored in hope for the future.
At a time when the world is filled with uncertainties, we are reminded that God’s guidance is ever-present, leading us forward with faith and trust. As we gather for this special evening, we come together to support the future of our Seminarians, ensuring that those answering the call to religious life have the resources they need to continue their formation.
Divine Providence: Trusting in God’s Plan
The Oblates of the Virgin Mary have always relied on Divine Providence, trusting that God provides exactly what is needed at the right time. This belief has sustained us through challenges, guiding us to serve communities around the world with faith and humility.
For our seminarians, the journey to priesthood is one of deep trust in God’s will. They step forward in faith, committing their lives to service without always knowing what lies ahead. The Seminarian Fund plays a crucial role in supporting them on this path, helping cover the cost of education, spiritual formation, and daily needs.
Anchored in Hope: Strength in Faith and Community
Hope is the anchor that keeps us steadfast, even in turbulent waters. As we celebrate our Annual Gala, we remain Anchored in Hope as we reflect on the resilience of our seminarians and the unwavering faith that sustains their calling.
One such story is that of Br. Miguel Roque, OMV, who felt the call to religious life but worried about the financial burden of seminary formation. Thanks to generous supporters like you, he was able to continue his studies and is currently serving in active ministry and experiencing OMV Community life as part of his formation this year. He will return to the seminary in the fall to complete his theological studies. . His journey is a testament to the power of faith, community, and God’s provision.
