Stretch rosary bracelet with ladybug beads. Size 6 1/2"

The original name of the ladybug is Our Lady’s Bug. The story goes that in the Middle Ages in Europe, a plague of small insects attacked the crops. Threatened with starvation, the people prayed to Our Lady to save them from this plague. In answer to their prayer, a cloud of small, black-spotted, red insectsappeared and promptly ate all the offending pests. The grateful population named them “Our Lady’s Bugs.”
