Fr. Jim welcomes the new websites

Dear friends,

Happy anniversary of Venerable Bruno Lanteri, the founder of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. This is a very special day for the Oblates and the greater Oblate family around the world. Today we celebrate the first profession of our three novices in Boston, and we celebrate numerous anniversaries of Oblates throughout our Province.

One of Venerable Lanteri’s most well known phrases is nunc coepi, which means “begin again.” In the spirit of this beginning again, I am very happy to announce that the Oblates have launched 7 new websites:

Please visit our sites to see the great work that our ministries are doing. The sites contain information about the life of Venerable Lanteri and include some of his writings. There are also now more opportunities to find out about the Oblate charism and connect with our Vocation Director Fr. John Luong, for those discerning religious life. In the coming months, we will continue posting new content, including everything from live streaming the daily Mass from St. Clement Shrine to a new Oblate Blog. The Blog will contain news, spiritual reflections, events, chronicles from our seminarians, and a whole lot more.

These new websites are designed to be accessed through cell phones and tablets as well as computers, which means you can leave us a prayer request, enquire about a retreat, or learn more about spiritual direction any time, any place. Please share these links to our new websites on Facebook and stay in touch with us. Thank you for being part of our Oblate family.

God bless you,

Fr. Jim Walther, O.M.V
Provincial
